On 20 April, 2021, IEEE BUBT Student Branch and IEEE CS BUBT SB Chapter organized a webinar based on Cyber Security.

The speaker for the webinar was Tanvir Hassan Zoha, Assistant Professor at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT). He is also the managing director of Backdoor Private Ltd.

The main theme of the webinar was the meaning of cyber security, importance of cyber security, value of cyber security in our country though he also briefly described other portions. The main focus on the webinar was while he strictly advised not to share any personal affairs by online or any kind of platform. He also shared his personal experience on cybercrimes cases and how he dealt with them. Participants also asked their questions which was really effective. Noticeable achievement was above 150 people did registration before the webinar started and above 90 people gave feedback on the webinar. In total 100 people joined in the webinar. Through this virtual webinar, the participants learned more about cyber security. Indeed, it was a successful webinar.
