Motivational Session by Mr Vaibhav Sharma - a Successful Innovator
Motivational Session
An online session was organized by Faculty of Engineering on 26 Dec. 2020 under the aegis of Institution Innovation Council (An initiative of MHRD’s Innovation cell, Govt. of India. Mr Vaibhav Sharma, Head of Operations, Energy Intelligence Private Ltd, Noida was the distinguished speaker of the session. Faculty and students of BSc, MSc and BTech from various departments participated in the event through zoom meeting. Ms.Sakshi Singh welcomed all the participants. Prof (Dr) R K Dwivedi, Principal FoE&CS highlighted the importance of the session and said that in India the need of the hour is to innovate products and services. It is required to think out of the box and get the solutions to the problems differently. Mr Pradeep Verma introduced the keynote speaker to the audience.
The talk delivered by Mr Vaibhav Sharma emphasized upon on the goal of ‘Atam Nirbhar Bharat’ i.e to self analyse our problems and attain the solutions rather than depending upon other countries for them. He further stated that our company ENERGY. INTELLIGENCE.IN was started initially at a very small scale but got exponential growth within a period of one year. It produced the UPS which has the capacity to restore the discharge for a long period of time. It is more reliable, can work at higher temperatures, and that too at 27 percent cheaper cost than our competitors. The company is giving 3 years warranty for their product which is unbeatable by any other company in India till date. He said that innovation is a process and to become the innovator it is essential to first identify the real problem, then find the optimal solution to the problem, make plan, action and monitor till the goal is achieved. Innovators start by looking how the world can be better. They see things as they are and then they see how they could be. To start to be an innovator, one needs the mindset, skillset and toolset of an innovator.
