Research symposium series 2021
Computational Intelligence Society (CIS), Gujrat Chapter is glad to announce next talk under Research symposium series 2021 as details given below:
Title : Cellular Planning and Optimization for the Next Generation Wireless Network
Speaker : Dr Sarosh Dastoor - Asst. Professor , SCET
Supervisors : Dr. Upena Dalal and Dr. Jignesh sarvaiya (SVNIT , Surat)
Date : 23 April 2021 (Friday)
Timings : 1.30 to 2:30 PM (IST)
Abstract:
In this talk Dr Sarosh will discuss The Next Generation of information and communication network is towards a significant paradigm shift supporting very high frequencies, leading to massive throughput of Gbps. Radio Network Planning is a vital phase for deploying a wireless network in a given area and under given conditions. It avails the complete frame-work of Capital Expenditure (Cap-Ex) and Operational Expenditure (Op-Ex) including the functioning and future estimation of a cellular network. The research contributes towards the domain of modern cellular network planning and optimization through mathematical models for BS deployment and using CoMP (Coordinated Multi Point) approach, by proposing strategies responsible for enriching various features related to the network performance. The formation of dynamic clustering for accommodating sporadic user density, efforts towards optimizing network parameters, change in user density, path loss exponent, number of cells per cluster and the dynamic radial coverage of inner and outer cell in a cluster, promises noteworthy enhancements by improving the energy conservation and the QoS.
