  1. The event will be organized by the IEEE Power and Energy Society Chapter, ADIT in the virtual mode as a part of IEEE PES Day-2021 celebration. It will be 90-100 min long e-panel discussion aiming at highlighting the role of engineers in completion of the sustainable goals that are set for the betterment of the mankind.

Biography:

Dr. Apel Mahmud received his PhD in Electrical Engineering with the best thesis award from the University of New South Wales, Australia in December 2012 and a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from RUET in 2008. Currently, he is working as a Senior Lecturer in Electrical & Renewable Energy Engineering at Deakin University, Australia. He also worked as a Lecturer in Electrical & Electronic Engineering at Swinburne University of Technology, a research fellow at the University of Melbourne, and a research publication fellow at the University of New South Wales.

Biography:


Mr Aditya Lolla is currently extending his services as the Senior Electricity Policy Analyst at Ember. Furthermore, he has also served at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras as a Project Officer. A proud recipient of the Queen's Jubilee Scholarship, he has also grabbed numerous prestigious awards like the Young Leader Award 2016 from Vision India Foundation and Best Merit Student award-2011 from the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineering.
