IEEE SIGHT GCET is organizing SMUN on this IEEE SIGHT Day.

With Model United Nations being an academic simulation of the United Nations, SMUN aims to achieve a healthy dialogue amongst us and our perspectives.

The Three Committees and their Agendas for SMUN are mentioned below:

1. UNHRC: The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) is a United Nations body whose mission is to promote and protect human rights around the world.
Agenda for UNHRC:
• Combating Racism, Xenophobia, and Related Intolerance.

2. UNESCO: The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. It seeks to build peace through international cooperation in Education, the Sciences, and Culture.
Agenda for UNESCO:
• Improving literacy rate among indigenous people.

3. WHO: The World Health Organization (WHO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations responsible for international public health.
Agenda for WHO:
• Migrant crisis, a cause of Covid 19.
