One of the solutions to meet the ever-increasing data rate requirements in 5G and beyond is the deployment of heterogeneous networks (HetNets) that consist of macro-, micro-, pico-, and femtocells. This type of solution significantly improves network coverage, helps reduce power consumption, and improves overall spectral efficiency. To accomplish this, HetNets will utilize new technologies and new frequency bands and will require new techniques by which to effectively and efficiently test these networks. This webinar will discuss how 5G will impact the deployment of HetNets and what test solutions are needed to meet these new challenges.

His background has over 30 years of experience putting together network connectivity solutions where only wireless would solve the problems. Wade is currently working with SAC as a National Sales and Solutions Engineer and owner of the solution consulting company www.TechFecta.com. He has also authored several popular books including “Learning 5G in the Real World”, “The SOW Handbook, and “The Smart City Tech Planning Handbook”, specializing in LTE, 5G and Smart Cities. Biography:
Joe Gallagher has been in the test and measurement industry for over 25 years in a variety of top T&M manufacturers and the last 20 years focused on the wireless industry. He’s held a variety of sales, business development, and management positions throughout his career. He currently is a Sales Specialist for the Rohde & Schwarz Mobile Network Testing group where he’s responsible for a number of national Network Operators and national channel management. He’s has a degree in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University and a former Naval Nuclear Power Officer in the US Navy.
