Join the WTS Young Professionals on April 27 to dive into the ins-and-outs of New York State Family Leave. Whether it is maternity/paternity leave or the need to care for an immediate family member, the extent of our rights to take that time off for family are often elusive. This panel event will focus on the basics of New York State's newly expanded Family Leave Law, as well as firsthand experience of E&A professionals navigating those laws.

We plan to cover questions like "How should I speak with my supervisor?"; "How much pay can I expect?"; "What questions should I make sure to ask or avoid in an interview or negotiation?"; "How much paperwork is involved!?"; "What can I expect when I return to work?"; and more.

This event will be a virtual event, and will include a Q&A portion with our speakers. We will take questions through the chat box during the event, and we also welcome you to submit questions in advance when you register.
