Dr. Bill McNally
Biography:
◦Dr. Bill McNally is a 35 year veteran of various high tech industries. His contributions include hardware engineering and debugging, to network engineering and IT support services.
◦One of his more challenging assignments in IT came in supporting the networks of a large chemical company whose IT equipment was literally melting due to the caustic environmental conditions. Bill’s team tackled the problem of outages of 36 hours in duration or longer. When his assignment was complete, the worldwide 18 month retrofit resulted in an average uptime of 99.9% . Given the caustic environment this was a remarkable achievement.
◦His 2016 PhD Dissertation at Colorado Technical University was : Boundary Objects: The Key to Hidden Knowledge in Social Media Streaming. The concept of boundary objects came from sociology which he used to analyze real time data streams from social media.
◦Currently, Bill is an Adjunct Professor at both Truman State University and Denver University as well as a corporate consultant
