Workshop on Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking.

The Workshop on Cyber Security and Ethical hacking was very informative, many new techniques to safe guard our devices from illegal hackers – (Black hat hackers). The information regarding Ethical hacking and the ways how one can become a white hat hacker was completely explained.

We had Mr. Sanjay Adiwal, Principal Technical Officer at CDAC Bangalore as Our speaker of the day, who was very clear with his thoughts and enough informative, his words were understandable and the session was successful.

Sanjay Adiwal

Biography:

Sanjay Adiwal has over 16 years of professional experience and has a keen interest for research in the area Network Security and DNSSecurity. Currently pursuing PhD from NITK Surathkal Mangalore, he is working in CDAC Bangalore as Principal Technical Officer. He obtained BSc in computer Science in 2001 and MCA in 2004 from Jai Narain Vyas University Jodhpur Rajasthan. Under the current role he has been responsible for Network Security and Vulnerability assessment & penetration testing (VAPT) of CDAC Bangalore network infrastructure, He is leading the team which manages Data Center of CDAC Bangalore. Prior to CDAC he was working for Indian Institute of Science Bangalore as system administrator trainee. He has published 5 research paper in international journals and conferences. 

Conducted knowledge dissemination programs/workshops across various cities in India under the project : PKI Public Key Infrastructure Body of Knowledge (PKIBOK). Conducted more than 50 workshops and seminars across various cities in the country under Information Security Education and Awareness (ISEA) project of India Govt taken by ICT under the initiative of CDAC. 

Has been instrumental in - Installation and configurations of GARUDA Cluster at CDAC Bangalore and NKN Network Bandwidth testing for partner institutes. GARUDA –Global Access of Resources using distributed architecture- GARUDA is a collaboration of science researchers and experimenters on a nationwide grid of computational nodes, mass storage and scientific instruments that aims to provide the technological advances. 


Conducted international training for African country BENIN as an Active resource person for both theory and hands on sessions in the courses offered by CDAC
