IEEE PES Cleveland Chapter, Columbus Chapter, and PES Region 2 are co-sponsoring this webinar for power transformer management and one PDH will be offerred for qualified attendees.

Seetalabs is an innovative startup founded in Turin, Italy, in October 2020 for developing and providing predictive maintenance tools for large power transformers.

An optimum maintenance strategy for Power transformers is the key to avoiding failures, unplanned downtime and above all, economic, social and environmental damages due to unexpected outages. For this reason, Seetalabs has developed the world's first predictive analytics model based on artificial intelligence (AI/Machine Learning supervised algorithm) to drastically reduce the risk of unscheduled downtime of power transformers.

RONIN is a cloud platform, designed for real-time evaluation of the health index of power transformers through readily available data for fleets of 10 to 10,000 transformers connected to a national grid.

The speaker, Mr. Alessandro Capo is a co-founder of the company and would provide a general description of the following topics in this presentation:

  • Transformer Health Indexing: CIGRE standards
  • Modeling
  • Scope of Machine Learning (ML): general description
  • On the accuracy and precision in ML
  • Introduction to SeetaLabs - RONIN
  • Live demonstration of SeetaLabs - RONIN
  • Questions & Answers
