MATLAB FOR BEGINNERS
Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad has organized two days workshop on MATLAB on 04, 05 March 2020. The workshop was inaugurated by the. Professor Raghuveer Sing, Hon’ble Vice-chancellor (officiating) and Professor Rakesh Kumar Dwivedi, Principal & Director, Faculty of Engineering and Computer Sciences of Teerthanker Mahaver University. The workshop was proceeded with the welcome note of Dr. Mudita Juneja, Workshop convenor and Head of the department, Electronics and Communication Engineering. Two of the student coordinators, Ms. Trapti and Mr. Rahul Jain, briefed about the workshops schedule and coordinated the activity in seminar hall. The chief trainer and speaker of the workshop, Mr. Shubhranil Kundu, Microsoft certified Trainer, Aspirevision Tech Education Foundation, ignited the participants about importance of MATLAB in industry applications. More than 100 students and faculty members were benefited with two days workshop. The workshop was conducted in both theoretical and practical sessions. The practical sessions provided deep insight into the MATLAB working and applications in various fields including signal processing, image processing, etc. The participants were enlighted by knowing the effective modelling skills and their use in real life applications. The workshop was concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Pankaj Kumar Goswami and participants feedback. The participants advised to have such workshops more frequently to enhance value addition in routine curriculum. The cooperation of Mrs. Sakshi Singh, Mr. Rahul Vishnoi, Mr. Neeraj Kaushik, Mr. Prashant Kumar, Dr. Ashendra Saxena, Dr. Shakti Kundu, Dr. Garima Goswami, Mr. Manoj Gupta was highly solicited in organization of the two days workshop. The workshop introduced the utility of MATLAB in research activity and academics, for understanding the fundamentals of core subjects. Prof. R. K. Jain, Prof. Bidyut Chatterjee, Mr Pradeep Verma, Mr Raghvendra Kumar etc. were also present during workshop.
