Guided Meditation for professionals in Teaching
A two days workshop on "Guided Meditation for Professionals in Teaching" was organized by FOECS, TMU on 25-26 February, 2020. The workshop was set open by lamp lighting and garlanding ceremony in front of the idol of Goddess Saraswati by Prof. R K Dwivedi (Director and Principal, FOECS), Chief Guest and Key Note Speaker Sri Deepak Lahori (Expert - Purposeful Guided Meditation and Energy Healing), Dr Ashendra Kumar Saxena (Head of Department) and Mr Priyank Singhal (Workshop Coordinator).
The purpose of conducting this workshop is that through meditation any individual can achieve mental, physical, emotional and social well being. The person can create positive energy and boost up his/her productivity. How to increase, manage and balance ones energy? The methods to achieve all these were being discussed in the workshop.
Prof Dwivedi highlighted the importance of meditation and he focused that practice of mediation is a must for everyone. With meditation one can be healthy, strong, organized, calm and happy. Not only this meditation increases the level of confidence in an individual. The practice of meditation helps us to manage stress as well. He congratulated everybody for organizing and participating in this event and said that by learning the techniques of purposeful guided meditation and being its consistent practitioner we can gain success in our personal and professional life. He admired the presence and the deliverance of workshop by Sri Deepak Lahori and presented him a memento.
The workshop concluded by vote of thanks by Mr Priyank Singhal (Programme Coordinator - MCA)

Keys Of Meditation
Sri Deepak Lahori delivered his knowledge in the field of meditation through his PowerPoint presentation. He elaborated in detail about what is purposeful guided meditation, how it can be practiced and what all benefits one can gain by meditation. In his lecture he revealed about five different bodies that exist with every person. These five bodies are - Physical Body, Energy Body, Mental Body, Wisdom Body and Bliss Body. He gave knowledge about 7 chakras of our body, the energy associated with each chakra and how working upon our chakras we can achieve healing. Sri Deepak Lahori also made all the participants to perform guided mediation for about 30mins. The enthusiastic participation was praised by Sri Lahori and he committed to be delivering more such workshops as and when required by the university
