IEEE Awareness Talk: Opportunities for students and faculty members

The Department of Information Technology, ABES Engineering College organized the webinar on “IEEE Awareness Talk: Opportunities for students and faculty members” on 23rd May 2021. The talk was delivered by Dr. Mahesh Jangid, Associate Professor, Manipal University Jaipur. Dr. Mahesh covered the following points:
- Introducing IEEE and various regions in IEEE.
- Purpose of Student Branch and process of organizing events.
- Research opportunities and material support for branch members.
- IEEE Collabratech.& IEEE VTools.
- Funding for events and multiple ways of helping others.
The webinar was coordinated by Mr. Vipresh Pandey (student chair) and Dr. Harikesh Singh (faculty coordinator).

Dr. Mahesh Jangid[MUJ] of Manipal University Jaipur
Dr. Mahesh Jangid is Associate Professor in Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Manipal University Jaipur, having 11 years of teaching and Research experience with prestigious academic institutions. He is an IEEE senior member and actively involved in IEEE activities. Apart from that he is also an active members of various globe societies like CSTA-ACM, IEEE-Computer Society, UACEE and IAENG.
