WIE are excited to announce a joint workshop being hosted in partnership with the Society of Women Engineers Rocky Mountain Section. Details are below.

 

Who: SWE and IEEE members, up to 25 people

When: June 8th from 4-6 p.m. MT

Society of Women Engineers Rocky Mountain Section presents:  Engaging working about leading with emotional intelligence including an Emotional Quotient Assessment. 

Biography:

Sandy had a long career, spanning 27 years with a global, private Engineering/Construction firm and worked in several business lines across numerous functions ultimately landing in Program and Project Management.  She was fortunate to travel with her family throughout the U.S. assigned to many signature projects:  including Chief of Staff, Homeland Security Technology Program at Nevada Test Site, Assistant Project Manager on Extended Power Uprate project at St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant, Deputy Market Manager for AT&T Telecommunications project and her final project, Program Manager destroying chemical weapons stockpile at Army Pueblo Chemical Depot for the Department of Defense.

 

4 years ago, Sandy was “liberated” from corporate America and started her own business, Altitude Business Coaching, to mentor executive women in how to position themselves to lead authentically in male dominated industries.  She is a graduate from Johns Hopkins University with an MBA in International Business. She is chair for the Colorado Springs Regional Action Committee for the Women’s Foundation of Colorado, chair and Advisory Board member for 4Word, a member of the Advisory Board for Tomorrow People Organization based in Serbia and a speaker coach for TedX. Sandy resides in Colorado Springs with her husband of 24 years and their 3 teenage children.
