On 18th June, 2021, IEEE BUBT Student Branch organized a webinar based on “Focussing on Passion, Profession and People”.

The speaker for the webinar was Aisha Nazia Mechanical Engineer, India. She is Project & Sports Management Professional, Operations Expert, Outreach & Growth Facilitator by Profession.

The main purpose of the webinar was to motivate and inspire the participants who believe in their passion and want to work for it. She talked about how to overcome our comfort/fear zone and broad our learning zone. She spoke about the “IKIGAI” method which is a Japanese method to let our mind invade our thoughts perspectives, choices and needs. She said to learn to being comfortable with chaos and looking beyond constantly and develop own skills for betterment. Participants, whoever has questions, asked their questions which were really effective. The noticeable achievement was that above 80 people gave feedback on the webinar. In total, 97 people joined in the webinar while the number of female participants were 34. Through this virtual webinar, the participants got a chance to learn more about self-development, how to overcome one’s comfort zone and how to discover our passion through our skills. Indeed, it was a successful webinar.
