The Software-as-a-Service Cloud offering has grown into a multi-billion dollar industry; more and more customers are adapting to this new paradigm of consuming business applications from the cloud which relieves the customers and their IT departments from the headache of maintaining large data centers, maintenance of hardware and software. For service providers of such cloud applications, this would mean that they have to concentrate on "operatability" of such a solution in addition to providing all the competitive features, bells and whistles. The objective of this seminar is to provide an overview of salient Cloud Operations activities of such applications and highlight the challenges.

Biography:

Santosh Chachadi is an Electronics and Communications Engineer and an MBA. He has more than 21 years of experience working in the IT industry in various capacities. He currently works as the Cloud Operations Manager for SAP Business By Design, a cloud ERP system which caters to customers in the small/medium enterprise segment having anywhere between 50-500 users.
