Dr Fahd Hashiesh is enthusiastic about renewable energy and sustainability and takes solid steps to pave the way to achieve the "carbon-neutral" targets with a strong track of more than 25 years of experience covering the full value chain from concept to realization.

Successfully held different global “commercial & technical” leadership positions focusing on products development programs and influenced the implementation of new technologies to support energy transition for various sectors.

Previously, he was the head of  systems Technology and hub manager for the Power Consulting unit in the UK and MEA region with ABB in the UK. Currently, he is a Group Vice President and global “Hydrogen and Power quality” segment manager with Hitachi-ABB Power Grids. He is a senior member of the IEEE and fellow of the IET, with a  research focus on energy transition, power systems challenges, smart and future grids.
