From Gaza To Mars - talk with Loay Elbasyouni
Presented By IEEE Robotics & Automation Society IIUC Student Branch Chapter & IEEE IIUC Student Branch
On April 19, 2021, the human race made history by successfully performing the first test of powered flight on another planet, MARS. Ingenuity Helicopter is a great motivation for space enthusiasts & engineering students. Meet Loay Elbasyouni, the lead power electronics engineer, one of the great minds behind the success of Ingenuity Helicopter. Loay started from Gaza, Palestine and made his way to NASA-JPL Mission Mars 2020 with his extraordinary engineering skills and dream to fly.
To get inspired by his story and learn from his experiences, IEEE Robotics & Automation Society IIUC Student Branch Chapter and IEEE IIUC Student Branch are presenting a webinar for the university students titled "From Gaza to Mars - talk with Loay Elbasyouni".
