It’s been more than a year since the nationwide lockdown in light of the coronavirus pandemic, wherein most of us have settled into the new normal of working in the online space. However, this situation has also affected learning Institutions; schools, colleges & academies, who have adapted to the remote learning practices as their main means of academic instruction. Due to which children and young adults spend more than 12hrs of their time on the digital space to encompass learning; in addition to the time spent to engage in social media practices. Thus exposing themselves to the possible dangers of Cyber offenses/crimes.

So, in order to create cyber awareness, IEEE Ahmedabad University Student Branch along with IEEE CIS Gujarat Section brings you a session ' Be a CyberSaathi' in collaboration with Safecity Project and Red Dot Foundation Program.

This is a 2-hour session arranged on July 21, 2021, from 2:00 PM onwards. It will be to empower children through spreading awareness on cyber threats and vulnerabilities and remedies in law, thereby enabling them to become the first level peer support system for child victims.
