INAUGURATION OF COMPUTER SOCIETY STUDENT BRANCH CHAPTER
It was an absolute honor and joyous moment for JNTUK-UCEV to celebrate the inauguration ceremony of “IEEE Computer Society (CS) Student Branch Chapter “on July 10, 2021 in virtual mode by Microsoft teams meeting app on the embarking of their journey with the very first selected executive committee members (Kandalam Venkata Godavari Srividya,KOTARI Abhiram Mehar Sri Sai, MNS S Ramalakshmi Akasam,Vinnakota Komala).
Sameer Mohammad,Vice Chair, IEEE STB started the meeting by Inviting guests and gave a Brief report on our IEEE STB.
Branch Advisor Prof.Dr.A.S.N.Chakravarthy,H.O.D of CSE, cordially greeted the Chief Guest,Faculty members and participants. It was followed by the speeches of Prof.R.Rajeswara Rao, Vice Principal, JNTUK-UCEV. T.Anusri, CS STB AG chapter, gave an introduction of our Chief Guest Dr.Lakshminarayana Sadasivuni, Chair IEEE Vizag Bay Section,FMR Regional Officer AICTE, Chandigarh,FMR Officer NBA, New Delhi,FMR Principal Scientist CSIR-NIO. He joined as the chief guest and officially inaugurated the event with the help of a ppt.
At first, Dr.Lakshminarayana Sadasivuni sir congratulated the members of CS for the inauguration. He thanked the leadership of the college for encouraging this type of events which helps the students a lot. He presented a PPT regarding about IEEE and CS importance and benefits. He gave an overview on CS Society and regarding various IEEE CS activities and gave a clear idea about the facilities and opportunities for software development with distinguished people across the world.
After the speech of the chief guest, T.Siva Rama Krishna Sir cordially greeted the Chief Guest,Faculty members and participants and congratulated the members of CS for the inauguration.
Finally, the event ended by the vote of thanks by S.Taraka Swathi, Secretary, WIE STB AG.

Prof. Lakshminarayana Sadasivuni
At first, Prof.Dr. Lakshminarayana Sadasivuni thanked the volunteers and congratulated the members of STB for the inauguration. He encouraged the students and members to plan and organize more events and more projects. He started his speech with a PPT stating “Study Engineering:Why?”.
He gave the brief introduction and importance about IEEE and CS society. He described about the facilities and benefits of IEEE and CS society. He told that about the hard work done by IEEE Vizag Bay Section. He told the importance and gave a clear vision after taking IEEE and CS membership.
He flourished his knowledge in different aspects of IEEE & CS society and many more about associate software development program and motivating us about Software Development Life Cycle.
Biography:
Dr.Lakshminarayana Sadasivuni persuaded M.TECH in Computer Science & Technlogy and done his PH.D in Computer Systems Engineering. He even had a knowledge over Russian language and also completed Diploma in Russian language.
Dr.Sadasivuni has also made a majestic mark in the field of teaching . Sir Sadasivuni can be considered prominent scholar of Computer Science,as all his teachings are related to computers.
Sir Sadasivuni has been providing his services at IEEE since 2011 till today. He really played a lively roleto spread the wings of IEEE, which is the world’s largest technical professional Organization dedicated to advanced technology for the benefit of humanity.
Apart from this Dr.Lakshminarayana Sadasivuni sir also worked as former Regional officer AICTE , at Chandigarh, FMR officer NBA at New Delhi, FMR principal scientist CSIR-N10
