The Maine Section’s Joint Communications Society and Computer Society chapter and the University of Maine are co-hosting a panel discussion on the growing role of artificial intelligence in Cyber Security.  

Dr. Julia Upton, Husson University Mathematics and Data Analytics Associate Professor and Maine Joint chapter Chair, and Dr. Ali Abedi, UMaine Associate Vice President for Research and Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, will moderate a virtual panel that will include Retired Rear Admiral Bill Leigher, FBI-Boston Special Agent Scott McGaunn, 2021-2023 IEEE Computer Society Distinguished Visitor Dr. Dan Shoemaker, and Principal Technology Liaison for Phoenix Technologies Ltd. Dr. Dick Wilkins, a recently retired Thomas College Associate Professor of Computer Science and Cyber Security: Panelists' Biographies
