Ambar P. Nayate, Principal from Shumaker & Sieffert, P.A. will discuss The Patent Process for 30 minutes and answer questions. Some of the topics may include "How do we know if something is patentable?; What are the steps if we want to patent?; How does the process go if we are working for a large client vs. we come up with something on our own?; What does Patent Pending mean?"
Biography:
Ambar is a registered patent attorney specializing in national and international patent prosecution in analog and digital circuits, software, computer architecture, telecommunication, and medical devices. Ambar’s practice also includes infringement counseling, opinion work, and portfolio management. Prior to his career as a patent attorney, Ambar worked as a Customer Application Engineer for Maxim Integrated in the optical communications group.
