Prioritizing Self-Care
To kick-off the Fall semester, IEEE Young Professionals and IEEE Women in Engineering Miami section affinity groups and IEEE Photonics Society and IEEE Sensors Council Miami section Joint Chapter are pleased to host an event in collaboration with FIU CAPS (Counseling and Psychological Services) titled “Prioritizing Self-Care” on August 26th at 3:00 PM (EST). The goal of this event is to equip students and young professionals with the tools required to manage stress and time in their career. We are delighted to have Mr. Chad Pierre facilitate this workshop on Time and Stress Management. Mr. Pierre is a Health Educator with the Healthy Living Program at Florida International University. He got his bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Florida. He loves helping students make healthier lifestyle choices in order to have a better college experience.
