IEEE Region 4 Presents: IEEE x REN21 Panel Discussion
What’s going on in the world of renewables? A review of the renewable energy trends around the world
Time: 6pm CEST / 12pm ET, Tuesday 14 September 2021
Join renewable energy on the 14th of September at 6pm CEST/12pm ET to learn about the latest trends in the world of renewables and ask your questions to renewable energy experts.
REN21 just released their annual Renewables Global Status Report, an annual stock take of what’s happening in the renewables world. Joining us from REN21 is Duncan Gibb, who coordinated a lot of the Global Status Report; and Lea Ranalder who coordinated the Renewables in Cities 2021 Global Status Report.
Joining us from Quanta Technology is Shay Bahramirad, Vice President of Climate and Resilience. She is responsible for assisting cities and utilities with climate change risk assessments for their assets, operations, and services and for developing mitigation strategies and investment strategies for adapting to climate change.
While the event is aimed at REN21/IEEE members and may be quite technical, everyone is welcome to attend and the event will be promoted on social media.
