Inauguration of IEEE day Celebration

IEEE Student Branch of Shri Ramswaroop Memorial Group of Professional Colleges, Lucknow is celebrating IEEE Day 2021 from, 1 to 6 October, 2021. Inauguration ceremony of the celebration is on 1st October, 2021. 

The Honorable Chief Guest of the event is Dr. Mohamed Benbouzid. He is IEEE Fellow and is currently a Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Brest (France). He is also a Distinguished Professor at the Shanghai Maritime University (China). His main research interests include analysis, design, fault detection/diagnosis, and control of electric machines, variable-speed drives for traction, propulsion, and renewable energy applications. 

The Guests of Honor are:

1. Dr. Celia Shehnaaz is Chair of IEEE SPS women in SPC and Chair of IEEE Bangladesh Section. Currently she is Professor in Electrical Engineering Department of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh .She has published more than 150 international journal/conference papers. She is a recipient of the Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship/Fellowship and Bangladesh Academy of Science Gold Medal for her contribution in Science and Technology. 

2. Dr. Chirag N. Paunwala is IEEE Senior Member and currently is a professor in electronics and communication engineering Department of Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology, Surat his research interests include Image Processing, Video Processing, Machine Vison and Pattern recognition. He has published various papers in journals and conference. Dr. Chirag has also published various book chapters.
