Financial Investments – 9:10 am
Nathan Murphy is a graduate of the Family Financial Planning Program at Texas Tech University and a CFP professional. He has been assisting people in the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles with their financial situations for the last 19 years. Nathan is currently a Wealth Advisor and Vice President with Happy Investment Services, a division of Happy State Bank.
Oncor/ERCOT and the Winter Storm – 10:30am
Eduardo Rodriguez is the Oncor Transmission District Manager whose area includes the Amarillo area. Eduardo will provide a brief overview of Oncor and their system territory in the Panhandle area. Collin Martin runs Oncor’s real-time grid operations/management area and has direct interface with ERCOT. He will discuss changes that have come about due to the winter storm. Eduardo and Collin are both registered Professional Engineers.

Jonathan Hartman is going to lead a case study discussion on ethics based on the Texas board actions and NSPE’s guide for ethical situations.
EVolving Classics - Is Converting from ICE to EV worth the effort? – 2:40pm
Daniel Fleischman is an engineer and manager in Transmission System Performance, which is part of Transmission Asset Management at Xcel Energy. Dan works out of the Amarillo Texas office, but he manages engineers in all 3 Operational Companies for Xcel Energy (Colorado, Texas and Minnesota). His group initiates Asset Renewal projects for both transmission line and substation projects. Outside of his work, Daniel is an avid classic car fan and recently completed a special project in which he converted a classic car to fully electric power.

We will welcome back Mr. Eric Spellmann to enlighten us on what is new and best in the world of Technology. Eric Spellmann is the President of Spellmann & Associates. Eric has established himself as a leader in helping customers meet their online goals through practical, hands-on-application. In addition, he is a featured speaker at a number of national technology conferences. His unique style appeals to all levels of audiences. He is often hired to convey technically challenging topics to non-technical people. He is often labeled a “Technology Evangelist.”.
