TALK ON “MODELLING AND ANALYSIS OF VARIABLE FREQUENCY TRANSFORMER”
Biography:
Dr. Farhad Ilahi Bakhsh is presently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at NIT Srinagar, J&K. He received Diploma and B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, India in 2006 and 2010, respectively. He was awarded University Medal (Gold) for standing first throughout his Diploma in Electrical Engineering. He pursued Masters's in Power Systems and Drives from AMU. He joined IEEE during his Masters and since then he is an IEEE member. He also worked as head of Research & Development cell, IEEE student chapter, AMU for around two years. Then he pursued Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India. During his Ph.D. he developed a new method for grid integration for wind energy generation system
which has been recognized worldwide.
