Abstract: Industry has been pushing requirements past 40GHz for some time now, but 5G wireless testing is not the only reason to use mmWave frequencies. We will discuss several emerging use cases and the associated challenges they bring in the 40GHz+ frequency range

Biography:

  • Jeremy Cline is a Product Manager at Rohde & Schwarz with over 10 years of both lab and field experience in test and measurement. Jeremy has authored numerous whitepapers, presentations, videos, and webinars on a wide variety of topics, including EMC, amplifiers, interference hunting, direction finding, and general radio frequency applications. He also serves as the primary representative for Rohde & Schwarz on the ANSI C63 Accredited Standards Committee.

    Jeremy graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), and The University of Southern California with a Master of Science in Medical Devices and Diagnostic Engineering (MSMDDE).
