IEEE DAY was celebrated on 5th October 2021, in the campus Basaveshwar Engineering college. Under IEEE Day celebration as part of HUMANITARIAN activity a visit to orphanage was planned by BEC_IEEE. All the volunteers visited the orphanage  'ASHRADHAMA' along with Branch Counselor Dr.Vijaylaxmi S Jigajinni. The students were thrilled by the enthusiasm receied by the children at the Oraphanage. The Student Branch BEC_IEEE had prepared for some snacks, which the children enjoyed. Branch counselor had a small chat with the children and the admistrator in the orphange, when asked "What help can be provided by IEEE ?" the administrator ansered that they were in need of technical guidance or support in helping the children in understanding the technical aspect of computers and guiding them how to use them. Promisisng we will help the children in any way possible we departed from there.
