Ken Box Ken Box of Square D by Schneider Electric USA

Topic:

Switchgear Thermal Monitoring

A major cause of fires in medium and low voltage installations is the result of faulty power connections. Loose connections (from improper tightening, vibration, corrosion, or excessive pressure) cause cables, bus bars, and circuit breaker connections to deteriorate over time - which can result in an electrical fire.
Continuous thermal monitoring of power connections provides real-time predictive maintenance recommendations to prevent electrical fires.
