Transgrid recently published its Energy Vision for Australia’s electricity system, setting out how supporting the shift to clean energy and decarbonisation will supercharge the economy, create jobs and support affordable energy costs for consumers. Energy Vision is Transgrid’s blueprint for how the National Electricity Market (NEM) could evolve to enable Australia to become a global clean energy leader.

Underpinned by detailed scenario modelling developed in partnership with independent experts at the CSIRO, ClimateWorks Australia and The Brattle Group, Energy Vision explores six possible futures for our energy system over the next 30 years to 2050.
