Jeff Fodiak and Tim Reiher will speak about their experiences in the Offshore Wind Industry and the opportunities  ahead. Both speakers are working on the Mayflower Wind project in Massachusetts. Mayflower Wind is developing a federal offshore lease area, located 30 miles south of Martha’s Vineyard and 20 miles south of Nantucket, that has the potential to generate over 2,000 megawatts of low-cost, clean energy. The speakers will present an overview of offshore wind project components from wind farm design, cable routing and installation methods, landfall considerations, and survey and site assessment.
