About the Topic
HDTV, UHDTV, HDR, HEVC, NextGenTV … what’s it all about? This two-part series will describe what these technologies are, and how to sift through all of it. Understand how audio and video devices in your home and in your hand can now deliver content in a near-reality fashion by both wired and wireless means.
Part 1 will discuss new audio/video technologies, and Part 2 will cover wired and wireless media, including cable, satellite, and the new NextGenTV system for over-the-air content delivery.
