How Medium Voltage Switchgear and E-houses are Manufactured
The IEEE Young Professional , Professional Activities and Industrial Relations Groups are pleased to offer an in-person presentation on how Medium Voltage switchgear and E-houses are manufactured. The presentation will include the following:
- Safety orientation and introduction to the Electrical equipment and Electrical Houses Powell Manufactures.
- Shop tour
- Question and answer period after the shop tour.
For the shop tour Personnel Protective Equipment(PPE) is required. You will need safety glasses, hard hat, face covering and safety boots. It is highly recommended to bring your own PPE but, if you do not have safety equipment, Powell can provide them.
We request that all participate have two COVID 19 vaccinations to enter Powell facility.
The Presentation is limited to 20 attendees, so please register early.
Presentation will be on November 19, 2021 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM. Please arrive 15 minutes in advance to allow time to sign in.
