Biography:

Shashank Gaur is a Systems Engineer for Platform Architecture at TTTech Auto, providing safe software and hardware platforms for automated driving. Shashank contributes to topics such as Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) and Scheduling for in-vehicle communication. Shashank actively engages in IEEE 802.1 Standard (TSN) activities on behalf of TTTech Auto. Shashank is also Chair of ComSoc's Young Professionals group where he leads a team of volunteers across various projects such as events at flagship conferences, blog, webinars, etc. Shashank is also currently Chair of the Tools Subcommittee of IEEE Conferences Committee.

“Building Diverse Volunteering Teams”

SYNOPSIS

The meaning of volunteering changes for each individual, and for an organization like IEEE it is important to adapt to such changes with as much flexibility as possible. In this talk, Shashank will focus on a few best practices he has seen while volunteering as locations, occupations and age changes.
