Dialux workshop series included two workshops in order to give the knowledge for the competitors who help to participate in Eminence competition. These workshops are also organized by the IEEE Women in Engineering society, University of Ruhuna who organize the Eminence competition.

The first workshop was held on 16th of July 2021 by using zoom platform with more than 80 participants. The basic and fundamental knowledge of the Dialux software was shared successfully in the first workshop.  The second workshop was held on 26th July 2021 via zoom platform with more than 60 participants covering the factors of lightning design and the lightning types using practical explanations.

The both Dialux workshops were conducted by Eng. W.D.C Dinuwanthi Welmilla who graduated from faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna with a first class with vice chancellor’s gold medal for the best engineering graduate and Dean’s list awards. She is a WIE former chair and she was an active member in AIESEC and kept the Ruhuna name in international and national level by having achievement in IEEE and IET, International, national and university level achievements in sports and captaincy.
