Six Sigma is a management philosophy and set of methods introduced by Motorola and General Electric to eliminate defects in their products and processes. Six Sigma views variation as the enemy and provides with a goal of having less than 3.4 defects per million opportunities. This methodology prescribes project-oriented improvement phases known as Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control (DMAIC). The most important focus of the Six Sigma methodology is that it propagates companies to become customer centric and deliver customers the products and services in the exact specification, highest quality, exact delivery time and quantity

Omar Malik is a management consultant, strategic advisor and a change leader with strong professional background spanning 25+ years. His experience includes leading transformational initiatives in manufacturing, telecommunications, financial services and process automation.

Omar is Founder of EUREKA Six Sigma; a professional services organization that help companies cultivate and sustain a high-performance business culture. Alongside his advisory work for manufacturing, services, and technology companies; Omar teaches a variety of courses at University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies
