Anuvrat Ki Mahima

18 Sept. 2021, This was the 9th day of Paryushan Parva known as “Uttam Aakinchanya”. CCSIT TMU Moradabad celebrate this event as a cultural night and theme of the event is “Anuvrat Ki Mahima”.

This event was started with welcome of our Honorable Chancellor Sir and his family, chief guest of the event Dr. Ajay Pant Medical Superintendent, Medical College TMU, and Judges of the event Dr. R. N. Krishnia Director CTLD, Dr. Anurag Verma Principal Pharmacy College TMU Moradabad. Than all the dignitaries was invited for the lamp lighting. A beautiful dance in the form of manglacharan and a drama with the title “Anuvrat Ki Mahima” was performed / played by students of CCSIT and narrated by Aaditya Jain, Assistant Professor CCSIT, TMU. In Jain community anuvrats are the list of rules that need to follow by every human being for internal peace and satisfaction. These thoughts teach us the actual objective of life. In the drama a person who was a Chandal by his profession had taken an oath in front of Jain Muni, that on every chaturdashi he will never kill any life. Due to sudden incident King of the podanpur ordered chandal to kill the king’s son. But due to anuvrat chandal disobey the orders and heart the king’s ego. Kind had given death penalty to chandal but god saves his life. And chandal and his ahinsa anuvrat praised by every buddy in podanpur. After this one group dance performance done by students of college of pharmacy that mesmerized the audience. All the final year Jain students were received a memento as their final memory of the CCSIT student journey.

At the last all the participants were awarded by the token of appreciation and the three students got the prizes for the best performance of the event. Every one enjoyed and appreciated the performance of the students.  Vote of thanks had given by Aaditya Jain.
