Richard's brief bio:
Richard's university education is in Mathematics, having graduated from the University of New Brunswick and the University of Waterloo. He held a faculty position with the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Memorial University from 1986-2000. From 2000 to the present he has worked in the fields of underwater acoustics for Guigne International, Pangeo Subsea, Kraken Robotics, and underwater machine vision (3D scene reconstruction) with Whitecap Scientific. He is presently a member of the Sonar Science team at Kraken Robotics.
