Expert Talk on Computer Vision and Gesture Control
The IEEE SB & AI&DS department organized a webinar on COMPUTER VISION AND GESTURE CONTROL on 13 November 2021 for the students of Sri Sairam Engineering College. Vibha V (IEEE Computational Intelligence Society Secretary), welcomed the Chief Guest, Principal, HOD, and the student participants of this event. A brief introduction of the chief guest was delivered by Vibha V (IEEE CIS Society Sec) and welcomed the chief guest to start the webinar on the topic of COMPUTER VISION AND GESTURE CONTROL.
The chief guest of the event was Mr. Shyam Kumar M and Mr. Nirmal Raja KL. The First Chief guest Mr. Shyam explained how images are classified, Neuron Model training, Image classification vs Object Detection, YoloV5 software, and applying YoloV5 on a video. Chief Guest Nirmal Raja KL taught us Colour tracking in live camera using python libraries, YoloV4 Structure, Architecture and Sample live camera output, Haar cascade Algorithm for facial feature detection, and its architecture with sample outputs.
Abhinav Suresh (IEEE CIS Society Chair) concluded the event by delivering the vote of thanks.
Overall, it was an amazing webinar and very interesting to work on. It would benefit all who are interested in it.
