Penny McKenzie, a cybersecurity researcher at PNNL, has been studying the behavior of Internet of Things devices to understand how to secure enterprise and home networks. Devices each have their own set of behaviors that can be monitored to detect anomalous actions. Penny will give an overview of the implications of utilizing smart devices in your home or organizations network and how researchers are helping realize the potential of these devices while maintaining security.
