Institute Innovation Council of College of Computing Sciences and Information Technology organized a Webinar on “Prototype Design and Validation”. More than 140 registrations are done by faculty and students both from the inside and outside. Total 99 participants were present during the event that includes 69 students, 25 faculties and 05 external candidates. Resource person for the webinar is Prof. Ramesh Chandra Panda, Dean Research & Development Cell, Synergy Institute of Engineering and Technology, Dhenkanal, Odisha.
Resource person was introduced and welcome by Dr. Megha Sharma, Associate Professor, CCSIT, TMU. Resource person begins his address with design and its importance with respect to develop market fit products.
Participants greatly admired the session specially the area where the resource person shows his innovation and how they finalize the design. Session was fruitful for young innovators as they were able to know that not the idea but its prototype help in getting funds. Finally short question session was held and anchor closes the session with vote of thanks.

Prototype Design and Validation
He discusses about the design types and various design practices followed in the corporate world. He also discusses about various tools for designing that includes physical and computer tools both. Then he describes about one of the projects undertaken by him and his team where they monitor TDS level of underwater using IoT and Artificial Intelligence tools. He discussed about how the potential of innovation is improved by using latest information technology. Then he discussed about the benefits of prototype design and validation for the startups as they are able to apply for IPR for their product or service, second to lure investments for their startups and help them to find whether product is acceptable in the market or to help in change in design

Authored/editorials 12 text books named" Industrial People Management"& " Joy of Engineering & Management", Industrial People Management, Interdisciplinary Bridging Gap Between Education & Industry Requirements. Professor Panda Published/Accepted 28 research papers& published 78 research patents, research copyright under Intellectual Property Right of India & indexed at WIPO, Switzerland. Prof. Ramesh Chandra Panda granted 6 Australian patents and filed more than 15 Australian Innovation patent.To establish himself in the field of education, to utilize his skills and experience to help students to achieve high improvements in carrier.
