First Hand on Few-Shot Learning

The advent of the internet permitted us to collect and harvest more and more data with the help of deep learning. This helped us to improve our everyday life providing us with more software able to personalize our daily experience. However, we still have some fields where the data is not so abundant, fields where data is still very scarce or hard to collect. Then the question arises: how do we train a deep learning algorithm given very little data? This is commonly known as few-shot learning. In this seminar, we will present ways to solve this type of problem. Furthermore, we'll look at the past, present, and future of few-shot learning.
