About the speaker:

Mr. Ashar Shahid is currently pursuing Masters in Computer Science Engineering from New York University USA. Also working on blockchain solutions in the financial sector. He completed his B.Tech in Computer Science from AMU in 2018. He worked at DNA as a developer for about 2.5 years. He was a co-founder and developer at swipe-up news, last campus, and worked for many startups. He also worked as a Technical Volunteer with SOCH - National level NGO.

 

MS Series Up 06 of "Get On-Board to Abroad" were joined by around 75 people. The speaker was introduced by Tayyibah Khanam, Coordinator SIGHT. Mr. Ashar Shahid gave us the information about how to pursue master's from USA, started the session with a brief introduction about NYU and its location. After that he focused on why NYU is good for pursuing masters from USA. Then, he gave every detail about the application process like cut-offs, CV, letter of motivation, time of application, documents, and many more. He also talked about the scholarships, stipend, and internship and on-campus placements and how we get it during the application or after admission. After that, there was a Q&A session which was very interactive attendees cleared their doubts. Attendees were requested for his ppt which contains lot of information. In the last vote of thanks by Javeria Sajid, Joint Secretary, and a certificate of appreciation as a mark of honor was presented to the speaker.
