Mr. K. Subodh Kumar

IP as a Strategic Management Tool

Biography: Subodh is a Principal Counsellor at Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) & Head of Andhra Pradesh Technology Development & Promotion Centre – an autonomous society of CII, TIFAC (Govt. of India) & State Govt. of AP. He has been associated in the formation of first of its kind Intellectual Property Rights facilitation Cell at Hyderabad. The IPR Cell Commissioned on Public Private Partnership mode has been actively involved in State & national level Capacity Building IPR activities, which encompass – IP Protection, Awareness, Training, and Counselling & Advisory Services. He is also leading CII Initiative in setting up IP Facilitation Cells for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises in other Parts of India.

Biography: Srinivas has been associated with Infotech Enterprises Ltd. for nearly 18 years. He currently leads the delivery of Software Services for Infotech’s customers in Utilities, Telco and Govt domains. Srinivas is passionate about technology and innovation. The teams led by Srinivas have developed many an IP for Infotech in the area of GIS, one of the company’s core competencies. Srinivas has been actively involved in Infotech’s efforts to develop and patent the IP and serves as a member on Infotech’s Innovation Council.
