Deep Learning in Clinical Medicine
Recent progress has seen the popularity of AI’s implementation in clinical medicine. We will introduce basic concepts of deep learning and related methods such as convolutional neural networks, recurrent neural networks, self-attention, and transformer. I will also introduce recent research achievements in our lab including the implementation of deep learning in medical image processing medical signal processing, and medical information processing.
Biography:
Prof. Zhu obtained his BE and ME degrees from Tianjin University in 2000 and 2002, respectively. He received his PhD degree from The University of Aizu in 2006. Currently, he is a senor associate professor at The University of Aizu. His research is focused on cardiac simulation, and AI’s implementation in medical fields.
