A mega event, Vocabaddicts 2.0 was organized by Centre for Teaching, Learning and Development (CTLD) in four stages for Students of all the Colleges of the University. It was quiz based competition based on English vocabulary.
First, screening round was conducted in various Lecture Theatres (LTs) of different Colleges on 11 October, out of 213 teams, 50 teams were selected for second round. Thereafter, quarter finals of the competition were held on 13 October at different venues based of selected participants. 12 teams were selected for semi finals. The Semi-finals and the Grand Finale event of the competition were held on 23 October 2021 in the main auditorium of the University. Two semi finals were held and 06 top teams were selected for finales. Grand finale was conducted in five rounds including rapid fire and buzzer rounds. Three teams were declared as winners (The Strikers from BSc- Maths), 1st runners-up(The elite from BBA) and 2nd runner-up(Legacy leavers from BSc-Maths). Prof RN Krishnia, Director CTLD welcomed all the dignitaries and audience and said that more than 600 Students from different Colleges of the University have enrolled for this mega event. He further said that trainers of CTLD have prepared a handbook for every student consisting of 300-word meaning, 200-synonyms, 200-one word substitutes, 100-Homophons and 200-Idioms, totaling 1000 wards. All the rounds of competition were based on these words.Delivering inaugural address, before the grand finale, honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof Raghuvir Singh said that in current environment, English communication has become one of the most important skills for every professional. I would like to appreciate the efforts put in by trainers of CTLD to organize such a mega event for development of our students. He wished all the 06 top teams all the best for grand finale. He also gave away the prizes to winning teams.Before commencement of semi finals, Prof Manjula Jain, Associate Dean also appreciated, the efforts put in by CTLD trainers and said that rich vocabulary will be of great help to participants.Host for the event, Ms Sukanya Raghuvanshi, connected every activity in a very professional manner. Her performance has been excellent throughout the event. Mr Vipin Chouhan, Quiz Master (The Mugambo of Semi-final and Grand finale) performed like a professional Quiz Master and made the event learning and enjoyable. The event coordinator, Mr Atul dayal has ensured that from conception of event to grand finale every activity was conducted smoothly. All other trainers (Mr Dilip Dutt Varshney, Ms Jasmine Stephen, Ms Soumya Sood, Mr Rajneeh Tiwari, Ms Alka Dayal, Mr Sagar P Singh, Mr Abhinav Shrivatava, Mr Tarun Arora, Mr Avinash Yadav and Mr Vikas Ranjan) performed their part of responsibilities flawlessly to make this event one of the most useful and successful event of the TMU.

Dr. Singh has hands on Experience on developing Road maps ( strategic direction) for Universities and educational Institutions using Balance Score Card (BSC). He prefers to focus on 360 degree approach to
Institutional Management. His process and systems driven approach to strategy execution assures desired results. He designs seamless approach that aligns vision with long term strategic goals( road map) and execution. The KRAs & KPIs are designed to induce & monitor actual performance. His PMS designed for University system and large Institutions is highly appreciable. He is an Expert on Accreditation process of NAAC & NBA and developing Innovation Eco System
