Ken Pyle is Managing Editor of the Viodi View and Producer of ViodiTV. These publications, provided insight into technology, particularly as it relates to rural broadband and the associated ecosystem. In 2014, the scope of the Viodi View expanded to include advanced mobility and its impact on the built environment. He has produced hundreds of videos for Viodi, trade associations, and corporations on topics ranging from autonomous vehicles, consumer electronics, Internet of Things and, Software-Defined Networking.

Joseph also held executive positions at Inventec, NEC, SGI and DEC (both are acquired by HP). He is a senior member of IEEE, past-Chair of the Santa Clara Valley IEEE Section, Board member and past-Chair of the CE Society, SCV, and Founder of the IEEE Silicon Valley Startup SIG.

Bio:

Tom Coughlin, President, Coughlin Associates is a digital storage analyst and business and technology consultant. He has over 40 years in the data storage industry with engineering and senior management positions at several companies. Coughlin Associates consults, publishes books and market and technology reports (including The Media and Entertainment Storage Report and an Emerging Memory Report), and puts on digital storage-oriented events. He is a regular storage and memory contributor for forbes.com and M&E organization websites. He is an IEEE Fellow, Past-President of IEEE-USA, Past Director of IEEE Region 6 and Past Chair of the Santa Clara Valley IEEE Section, board member of the Consultants Network of Silicon Valley and is also active with SNIA and SMPTE. Abstract:

This is our annual sharing of the new and unusual things seen at the Consumer Electronics Show in early January. This event has proven to be a very popular one to attend for people that are in the industry or just have a curiosity. See photos and hear explanations about some of the highlights and major themes, as well as some of the weird and unusual items that always seem to appear at CES. Additionally, there are a number of related events that are held just before and after CES that will be talked about, including Showstoppers, Digital Experience, Storage Visions, and ICCE (International Conference on Consumer Electronics)
