Mehdi Si Moussa of IEEE Microwave Society
Radio Frequency: From University to Industry
Presentation about the different aspects and challenges of Radio Frequency, going from being a student in university, doing research in a laboratory to working in industry for a small or a big company.
Biography:
Mehdi Si Moussa (S'03; M'08, SM' 18) was born in Algeria, in 1977. He received the State Engineering degree in electronics and Magister degree in microwave and communication from the Ecole Nationale Polytechnique (ENP), Algeria, in 1999 and 2001, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in applied sciences from the Universite catholique de Louvain (UCL), Belgium, in 2006. Since 2002, he has been a Research Assistant with the Microwave Laboratory (EMIC), UCL. His research interests include simulation, design, and modeling of RF and microwave circuits in SOI CMOS for wideband and high temperature applications. In 2010 he joined the LACIME laboratory at ETS (Ecole de Technologie Superieure) in Montreal Canada, where he was dealing with RFID applications including innovative antenna designs and prototype designs on LTCC. He is currently with Skyworks
