The Data Science Club of CSE Department, NECG has conducted A National Level Workshop on ”Trends in Data Science” on 18-10-2021 . This Workshop has been conducted by Data Science Club under the IEEE Student chapter Computer Society and it was organized by the students of data Science club members. Initially HOD has  addressed the gathering later and Vice principal and Principal have addressed the gathering. The resource person addressed the Third year students and fourth year students and told that . He has explained about the what Data Science is, what is the future of data science and life cycle of data science and he also said about tools and techniques of the Data Science . Also launched the Data Science Club website to the participants and also HOD also said about importance of Data Science. Resource person Mr. Kumar Gautam Pathak, Gloedge explained well data science and also tools and techniques to use it. Totally 160 participants have attended to the workshop and participants from different college’s 

Universities have attended. Various points on the need of Data Science, exposing ourselves in the IT industry, roles in data science were also discussed by the resource person.
